Talks and strategies are underway, under the leadership of Alan Barich, to develop one or more agricultural technology research parks in the region. The purpose of the parks is to bring research out of regional research institutions to allow dual-use, that is, private company as well as government application of technologies developed in association with those institutions. That’s all I can say right now . . . Stay tuned.
